I didn't buy you lots of gift's, but that doesn't mean that I don't love you. I'll leave you with this question, though. Why are people so enamored with flinging apostrophe marks around when they write? I reviewed "The Elements of Style" (thank you, PNC), and the proper use of apostrophe marks in that book starts with the FIRST SENTENCE ON PAGE ONE.
I've amassed a whole good pile of 's gone wrong, and my goal next week is to torture you all with them.
