His brakes went out way up by the traffic circle, so he zoomed through town, yelling for people to watch out, since apparently the horn was broken as well. He was careening towards a large group of people in the road, when he finally crashed into the fence and stopped. Thank goodness today is a holiday and the public school is closed.
STJ rumor mill says he was given a ticket for speeding and one for reckless driving (or something like that). The poor guy had to sit there with a broken wrist for quite a long time while the officers conducted their "lawful duties".
