I am thankful for forum posts like this. Wrong island, try again.

St. John's with Babies
I will be traveling to St. John's in Dec. with my 2 kids (1 year and 2 1/2 years). My very nice brother is renting a house for the whole family but I am feeling very anxious about what we will need to bring and what we should buy. The only other place we've been to was the Bitter End in the BVI and there were no easily accessible stores. With new airline surcharges for bringing anything, we need to pack lightly. So here are my questions: 1)Does St. John's have grocery store with diapers, Enfamil, etc. 2)Will there be a place to buy/rent cheap sand toys, beach umbrella/shelter.

No Parking at Trunk Bay

On the switchback, of all places. Welcome to St. John.

I love the part where it says "he then backs over her, leaving an indentation of his plate in her forehead for later reference."

From Urban Dictionary, regarding "Parking Lot Police":
One who has nothing better to do with his/her life, besides taking refuge in an old parking lot with a pad and a pen, and taking the license plate number of every driver that does something wrong in said lot; in some cases taking it upon themselves to write you some sort of ticket or go vigalante.
Driver: *driver taps another vehicle while creeping out of a tight mall parking lot*
Parking Lot Patrol: *takes notice to the careful driving, but notices that the driver bumped another car, hense springing into action and attempting to take the plate number of driver.
Driver: *notices that the loser is writing his plate number down, so he then backs over her, leaving an indentation of his plate in her forehead for later reference*

$525,000? Sorry for this long and horrifying post.

The living room? Cramped beyond belief. Kitchen? Yuck. Bathroom? WTF, it's Medusa gone wild. You call that a shower? Bedroom? O.K., I am done, once I spotted "The Scream" sideways over the bed.

More apostrophes gone bad.

OK, let me get this straight.  One kid will learn, and give your camp two thumb's up? Let me write a check today.

OK, someone has their panties in a bundle.

And it's not me, for once (write that on your calendars). Bronc is all distraught because he received this postcard in the mail from T. Rowe Price, inviting him to "go green". Honey bunny, it's going to be alright. It's amazing that this company even recognizes your V.I. mailing address. Sleep well, and don't have nightmares of this:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjOQRdXG6s0

The worst handicapped parking space in the whole world.

The sign says that handicapped access is around the corner, but you need to go up two flights of stairs to read the sign. Seriously? So someone parks in this lame-ass spot, only to find NO SIDEWALK? And never mind being shoved next to the dumpster at the beginning of a very busy intersection. Shame on these owners for not being more in compliance with the law.

Trash Talk

Nice! So, WTF? We've got two TV's, one mattress, a dead BBQ, an old dryer, and a SHOPPING CART. Is this like "Let's Make a Deal?"
Please see my highlighted answer, below:

11. Let’s Make a Deal

Let’s Make a Deal
Hosts: Monty Hall (1963-1977; 1980-1981; 1984-1986; 1990-1991), Bob Hilton (1990), Billy Bush (2003)
Years on TV: 1963-1977; 1980-1981; 1984-1986; 1990-1991; 2003
If you had to name one of the zaniest game shows, Let’s Make a Deal would definitely fit the bill. Part of the fun was host Monty Hall’s selection of contestants from an audience of people in crazy costumes trying to stand out in the crowd. Once the dealing began, contestants could choose from behind door or curtain number one, two or three – with either legit prizes or total crap.

And what the hell does that mean?

I don't think you'll need a very large amount of money to live here for one semester.
A medium to large amount of money will do.
