THREE taxis parked in the public lot today. Um, hello? How about parking at the TAXI STAND?

This is so wrong!

OK, so "school food" is apparently allowed to park ALL DAY LONG in a thirty minute parking spot, so he can sell cold drinks out of the back of his truck. WTF? Even worse, our Island Administrator must walk and drive by him EVERY DAY, since her office is up at The Battery. Argh!

Parking: I think this is going to be a recurring theme.

Brilliant! High season on St. John, so Mongoose Junction ropes off a good fifteen parking spaces!

There is something in Cruz Bay called a taxi stand.

So, please use it! That's five minutes of my life I'll never get back, waiting as the driver unloaded people, luggage, and a car seat, and then while they paid, and then when he held traffic so they could cross the street. Oh, and the taxi stand was nearly empty.

Parking, again.

Between the wide school bus, the police car, and the taxi, there go three and a half parking spaces. Wrong, wrong, wrong!
