    The second 'e' is actually an 'a' , just poor penmanship ... But I feel ya, I see it all the time in stt.

    Yes, indeed, that restaurant sign brings me great joy on a fairly regular basis. "Sea side" is a compound word, taught in elementary school. And "dinning?" No, no no.
