Seriously, shut the hell up.
Janette Millin Young
Things that make you go, "Hmmmm." It was a pleasure to have witnessed the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School's Class 2012 walk across the stage to accept their diplomas. In fact, I was pleased to be there in support of these students who show much promise. While they numbered more than 200 graduates, the top three were all young men! Indeed. There's much hope for tomorrow. In the end, the ceremony was beautiful and moving. From the march to the singing of Calypso. One of the graduates was even on stilts. There was only one hiccup. Senators were slighted. The Legislative Branch was not a part of the program, and we were hardly acknowledged. Personally, it's not about being in things. It's about having our young people know their leaders are there for them. Well, at least I speak for me. But I digress. It WAS a wonderful celebration of accomplishment!
